Is the traditional family composition our only choice?

This work originates from appeal of legalizing marriage between the same sex in Taiwan, which is the very first step of such movement in Asia, and which has induced so many social discussions on topics on homosexuality, marriage and family. Cyrus employs a dance theatre model for this work, performed by one female and one male actor, and work with music composer, visual designer and dramaturgist to create the work. Sometimes we are facing the similarities and differences between dance and theatre methods, like being abstract or concrete, leaving room for imagination or throwing a punch to the audience. Like the topic, establishing relationships or whatever family compositions which are not necessarily rational but nearer to the world of the oneiric.
